UK Soul legends The Real Thing bring the  2026 'You to Me are Everything' 50th Anniversary Tour to Tunbridge Wells 

50 years since the release of their debut No 1 Million selling single ' You to Me are Everything' The Real Thing are to embark on a 50th Anniversary tour in 2026 and one of the  stops on the tour will be at Tunbridge Wells Assembly Halls on Friday 31st July 2026

Indeed, on the very day July 31^st  back in 1976 the single was still in the UK Top 20 after having spent 3 weeks at Number 1 from the 26^th June to the 10^th July - the single was 'The Sound of the Summer' - the hottest summer on record at the time! 

The Band - still led by original lead singer Chris Amoo alongside original member Dave Smith have continued to keep the bands legacy alive with concerts around the UK and beyond for the past 50 years.

'If you'd have told us in 1976 that we would still be performing to thousands of people in 2026 we'd have said you were dreaming' said Chris ' But it shows the power of a classic song that resonates with people. The moment the intro is heard then the memories come flooding back for people'

But the band are more than just 'one hit wonders' - the catalogue includes the follow up hit single 'Can't get by without you' 'the Disco classic from 1978 'Can you feel the force' plus 'Children of The Ghetto' 'So Much Love to Give' and more!  

'We've played plenty of Soul Festivals around the area over the years but we've not come back to the premier Theatre venue  in this area for a long time - we can't wait to tread those famous Assembly Hall stage  boards again'

Very,Very special guest on the night will be fellow Uk soulstress Jaki Graham who herself is celebrating the 40th Anniversary of her biggest hit single 'Set Me Free' in 2026
