This year, Calverley Grounds transforms again into a magical ice rink, bringing festive cheer to Tunbridge Wells. Experience the thrill of skating under the lights in the heart of the town. Whether you're a seasoned skater or a first-time beginner, there's something for everyone. Grab your mittens and skates, and make unforgettable memories with family and friends this festive season.
Open seven days a week from Friday 5th December 2025 to Sunday 4th January 2026 (closed Christmas Day), the outdoor ice rink and festive stalls are only a five-minute walk from the train station and town centre offering spectacular views of the beautifully lit park, creating a unique and special seasonal experience!
If you require a Seal Skating Aid please pre-book, as we cannot guarantee availability for purchase on the day. If the option to book a seal is not present in the booking journey, this means that the allocation for the session is fully booked.

Returning this year will be our Relaxed Skating Sessions on select days at 12pm.
Our Relaxed Ice Skating Sessions provide a serene and peaceful environment, free from music and flashing lights, with slower skating speeds enforced. These sessions are ideal for individuals who prefer a calmer atmosphere. Please check more information for further details.

Relaxed Sessions: While everyone is welcome, these sessions are specifically designed for those who may find ice skating a bit more challenging. Our goal is to foster a space where people of all ages and abilities feel safe, empowered, and able to leave the ice easily whenever they choose.
