Ice Skating Terms & Conditions
Skate hire is free. You can also bring your own skates. We can accommodate all sizes up to and including adult size 15. For our youngest skaters we go down to junior 10. Bob skates are also available, which will be worn over footwear; please do not wear wellington boots.
The ice rink is open come rain or shine. Please dress according to the weather. On occasion there may be a layer of water on the ice surface - this will not affect your skating although you may get wet if you fall over!
Minimum Age/Adult Supervision
There is a minimum age for children of 4 years old to go on the ice rink (dedicated Parent & Toddler Sessions 2–3yrs). 4–8 year olds must be accompanied onto the ice by an adult (18 years old and above) in skates. Maximum of 5 children per adult. We recommend for our evening sessions that children aged over 8–14 years are accompanied by an adult (the adult need not be skating).
Parents & Toddler
Parent & Toddler sessions are daily at 9.45am and 10.15am, with an additional 2pm session (Monday to Saturday) and last half an hour. Sessions are available Saturday 17 November up to and including Wednesday 19 December. Parent and Toddler Sessions can be pre-booked online and via the Box Office in advance of the session, tickets can also be booked on the day at the ice rink Box Office. Please remember to bring a change of clothes as your toddler may get wet! One 'seal' skating aid is included with your ticket price on these sessions and are issued by the Box Office before the session. Seals can only be used by children.Tickets for these sessions will only be refunded in the event that the session is cancelled.
Ice skating can be hazardous. All skaters are reminded that they skate at their own risk. Please read our Safe Skate Guide before taking to the ice.

Tickets are non-transferrable and no refunds will be made unless the Management have found it necessary to close the ice rink due to health and safety or technical concerns.

Please keep your personal belongings to a minimum. Shoulder bags are permitted on the ice but they must be tucked inside your jacket. Items can be left with your shoes but they must fit into the available space. Please do not leave valuables. Any items left behind at the skate hire are left at the owner’s risk.
