Kast Off Kinks

Show Info

27 Mar 2010

The return of the great new line-up of this legendary, world-class band, which still contains 3 actual members of The Kinks.  Original drummer, Mick Avory, joined The Kinks (at that time still called the Ravens) in January 1964 and is still regarded to this day as the backbone of the original Kinks. He is joined by Jim Rodford, who was bass player with The Kinks for twenty years and now plays with The Zombies and Argent, and keyboard player, Ian Gibbons who was with  The Kinks for seventeen years.  By fans, Ian is regarded as the best keyboard player of The Kinks.  The fourth remaining band member and only non-KINK  is Dave Clarke (ex Noel Redding Band).

The Kast Off Kinks will be playing all your favourite Kinks hits, You Really Got Me, Sunny Afternoon, Waterloo Sunset, All Day & All of the Night, Dedicated Follower of Fashion, Lola, Come Dancing, Tired of Waiting, Apeman, Days and many more...

With support from local band Sarah Tonin.
