Artists Alan Price, Chris Farlowe and Maggie Bell learned their crafts by playing the exciting London club circuit in such famous clubs of the time as ‘The Flamingo’, ‘Klooks Kleeks’, ‘Ricky Ticks’, ‘Eel Pie Island’, and ‘Ronnie Scotts’ and ‘The 101 Club’ creating the birth of British Rhythm N Blues, which rapidly spread across the nation. This new generation of music buyers very soon shot these artists into the charts through hit singles and albums and sold out concerts.
