Following two sell-out West End seasons, Yes, Prime Minister comes to the Assembly Hall Theatre for 1 week only.

The original writers of the classic BBC TV series, Antony Jay and Jonathan Lynn have reunited for this anniversary production and now Prime Minister Jim Hacker and his Cabinet Secretary Sir Humphrey Appleby are back in this hilarious new play.

In a world of spin, BlackBerrys and ‘sexed up’ dossiers, the PM is staring disaster in the face. The country is on the brink of financial meltdown and the Government’s only apparent salvation comes from a morally dubious deal with the Foreign Minister of Kumranistan. Will Jim Hacker and his team of advisors be able to rescue the country from the edge?

Michael Fenton Stevens (Benidorm) will play Prime Minister Jim Hacker and Crispin Redman (Law & Order: UK) will take the role of Sir Humphrey Appleby. Bernard Matus (Lend Me A Tenor) will join the cast as Principal Private Secretary Bernard Woolley. They will be joined by Indra Ové (Frankie in Holby City)  and Jonathan Kemp.

‘**** The audience loved it. A hit’          Daily Mail

‘Jim Hacker and Sir Humphrey are back in truly vintage form. As politically sharp and blissfully funny as ever’  Daily Telegraph
